A kitchen built on family tradition
Noodles & Dumplings Co. is run by Dawa and his mother, Grace Nelson — a mom-and-son team whose recipes trace back through generations of their family. Originally from Tibet, China, they settled in Southern Utah nearly two decades ago and turned years of home cooking into something they could share.
They began at the Tuacahn Saturday Market, then spent four years running a beloved food truck, often parked near the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site. In April 2026 they finally opened their own dining room — same handmade food, now with room to sit, stay a while, and yes, air conditioning.
Everything is made by hand: the dumpling wrappers and fillings, the buns, the noodles. The goal has always stayed simple — authentic, handmade, healthy Chinese food, and customers who feel like family.
